We have fired a cannon at camp before, though the cannon is out of state at the moment and might not be back in Texas in time for next summer.

We are very concerned with safety. Campers go attend a lecture about muskets and gun safety before even going to the gun range, and we hire a Kiowa Indian sniper to pick off anyone who disobeys range rules. We now wear excessive ear and eye protection.

A: We have three meals a day, served by the folks who run a cafe on the property. The cafe is closed during the summer, though, so we usually have the eating area to ourselves.

There are two cabins, one for boys, the other for girls. Each is full of plenty of bunk beds. Campers should bring all of their bedding (except the mattress). Bathrooms are in a separate building.

Most of the activities at the camp are not extreme, the exceptions being paintball, dancing, and whatever games the campers themselves choose to do when they have free time. Many activities are outside in the heat, though. We make sure that water is always available.
